As part of our continued commitment to elevating the guest experience, we are pleased to introduce a thoughtful enhancement project across selected areas of the island in the coming months.

From late May through October 2026, a select collection of Overwater Villas will be enhanced with the addition of private pools.

This considered update is designed to further enrich our overwater accommodation experience, offering guests an even deeper sense of space, privacy, and connection to the surrounding ocean.

The project will be carried out in carefully planned phases, with activities limited to designated areas of the island at any one time.

All work zones will be discreetly screened to maintain privacy and minimise visual impact.

Throughout this period, beach accommodations and key resort facilities, including our restaurants, spa, and leisure experiences, will remain operational, allowing guests to continue enjoying the tranquil island experience that defines Vakkaru Maldives.
